How This Zener Test Tracks Intuition
This dashboard aggregates results from the Chrometuner Zener Card test to look for patterns that go beyond random chance.
Each time a user makes a guess, the system records:
- The selected card vs. the actual card
- Whether the guess was correct or incorrect
- The chosen test mode (standard or Chrometuner/binaural)
- The selected brainwave state (delta, theta, alpha, gamma, or blind)
- An optional name/identifier (to track personal performance over time)
- A timestamp of when the guess was made
What the Data Measures
Because there are 5 possible cards, pure chance should average around 20% accuracy.
This dashboard compares actual results against that baseline to explore:
- Whether certain brainwave states correlate with higher accuracy
- Differences between standard vs. binaural-assisted sessions
- Whether individuals improve over time using a consistent identifier
- Outliers — users or conditions performing significantly above chance
How to Interpret the Results
- ~20% accuracy → what you’d expect from random guessing
- Consistently above 20% → may suggest pattern recognition, bias, or something more interesting
- Large sample sizes matter — small runs can easily skew high or low by luck
ALSO: Keep in mind that being consistently below that 20% random chance might also be meaningful. Like if you constantly get 0 right, that might indicate some sort of inverse intuitive
ability or state.
Then come back here and see how you — and everyone else — are doing.
Notes
- This is an open experiment, not a controlled scientific study
- No personal data is required — identifiers are optional and self-defined
- Results are aggregated in real time as people use the test
Your Role
Run multiple sessions, try different brainwave states, and use the same name if you want to track your own performance.
Chrometuner Zener Results & Analysis
This dashboard uses completed 20-card rounds for the main leaderboard, while still showing raw guesses and incomplete-round activity for context.
Chance expectation is 20%, or about 4 correct guesses out of 20. The leaderboard ranks completed rounds first, but raw/incomplete data is still visible.
